So once again Halloween is upon us!
Why am i not psyched? A matter for discussion. The fact that the costume we bought were borderline horrible might have contributed, as well as the sour throat that made its presence noticed! =(
But other than that, it's all good and jolly! Me, Kongo, Ban-Jo, Pierre and (enter name) are gonna give it our best, without costumes, holiday spirits and a limited supply of the other kind of spirits...
I think we can all agree that the best of times have always been the ones that were not planned at all, just the times you went with the flow!
Even went as far in my head as to plan a possible visit to the local church, been more than a wee time now.
Other than that i can state that the apartment is cleaner than i've seen it in years, with the addition of a pin-up drawn on a piece of cardboard. Jummy.
So enjoy your Halloween, and keep the candy from stranger to a minimum!!!
(A song that is Halloween to me below)
Well update you later on the escapades to come, enjoy your Halloween too!

A cottage in the woods seems like the best idea...
Well, the video pretty much says it all. I must admit i am slightly taken aback, even though none of this is really breaking new. But to see all of it so black on white is rather awesome.
I could marvel at some future concept based on the video, but honestly it was a little too much on a monday. I'll just listen to Johnny Cash and dream about my cottage in toscana...

Virgin Midnight Entry
So, here we are, Sunday before the Bank Holiday. WHY IS IT SO QUIET? after alot of work, we got a few people together in the apartment, but the pulse is looooow.
We did good (fairly) all day in order to weigh up for a promised evening, which turned out...disappointing.
Plenty of french people here, speaking french. We don't. Thank god I understand french, otherwise they would be talking about anything!
Well we're planing the rest of the evening, and it doesn't go very well, since campus is all silent =( we think it is because this weekend all the french students are visited by their parents, clearly explaining the overall gloom covering the campus.
Tomorrow, i'll post on a more joyous note!
Sweet Dreams!

"You're a right bastard! - how the hell did you know that!?"
During the two first weeks I stayed at campus my internet was zoooooming, faster than a racehorse on crack. Then all the other 8.000.000 people moved in and wanted to stream 50 episodes of Gossip Girl on each laptop, and the almighty racehorse overdosed.
Not being able to stream YouTube clips in more than 360 points, or have our Skype conversation with your brother cut off FIVE times, is N-A-Y-O-K-A-Y, in case anyone is scratching their heads bald over this matter.
But no matter the substantial hatred I harbor for the internet, all is well in the Kingdom of Jack, for the King is feasting on Tuna. John West, "No-Drain-Less-Mess" tuna to be precise!
And as we all know, with tuna comes peace of mind.
My question to YOU is: What does the awesome entity that is tuna means to you? WELL!?

But more, much than this, i did it my way
Oh, i haven't even gotten to the porridge yet, but i had to share a piece of my mind! last thursday there was karaoke night at The Headline, organized by the Gay and Lesbian Society - of course we had to go!
First me and Kongo did "Never gonna give you up" by Rick Ashley - instant success.
However, i felt that what it made up in flare and good spirit, it lacked in sensuality and and actual song-quality x)
So me and my good friend Caramel took the stage, and did the best song in the world - My Way by Frank Sinatra. i Even dedicated it to a fair lady present in the pub, just to get it all right!
I thank Caramel a thousand times, cause i never had that much fun singing! xoxo
"The record shows, i took the blows, and did it my way"
Oh what a beautiful morning, oh what a beautiful day!
Now we're talkin'!
I wish i could be waking up to this kind of day, everyday! :D Happy rays of sunshine
greeted me as i awoke from a great night's sleep, and the first song to hit Spotify is Shake with
Otis Redding, just too good to be true.
Did i say the sun was out? splendid if nothing else.
Dayplan: shower, brunch (yes, i WILL have porridge), a LONG walk in the great weather, and then reading readers during the afternoon! I feel like such a sensible fellow, since i just got of my antibiotics, i'm gonna go for a easy weekend :D
Keep your eyes set for the horizon, there might be another "waking on sunshine" entry in the afternoon ;)
Songs of the day
1. Ain't No Sunshine - Bill Withers
2. These Arms of Mine - Otis Redding
3. Hey Tonight - Creedence Clearwater Revival

The Friday the World Forgot
Dull.
The only possible way to describe this friday, is dull beyond limits.
When you are stuck in your couch, reading readers on classical liberalism
and waiting for your laundry to dry, it just seems like the world is spinning a little slower.
The chap lying in the couch opposite, alias Kongo, seems to share my judgement upon this day. I mean, greater forces gotta conspire against you when you get a foodcard loaded with 50 € and the cafeteria closed 5 minutes earlier...*sigh*
Our french co-tenant, alias Pierre just bursted through the door ranting on about the stupidity of paying 7 € to see the books of Kells at Trinity...
Well that's it for now, probably some film n' chilling tonight!
- Why? - Because i Can
